WeStride Institute of Technology and SAU launches Thailands first online STEM undergraduate degree

Southeast Asia University, in collaboration with WeStride Institute of Technology, proudly introduces the FutureX Program, an innovative initiative revolutionizing online undergraduate education to meet the demands of today’s digital age.

The FutureX Program is designed around seven core principles to provide students with a flexible and modern learning experience tailored for the digital era. The program emphasizes hybrid learning and continuous online internships throughout the curriculum, focusing on developing technological skills and preparing students for real-world careers. Key highlights include:

1. Skill Development through Real-World Learning
   Students will gain hands-on experience through internships integrated with academic learning, equipping them with industry-relevant practical skills.

   Students will collaborate with professionals through projects and internships, gaining insights and skills aligned with current market needs.

   FutureX offers a Job Guarantee, enhancing graduates' confidence in securing employment post-graduation.

The program’s first degree is the Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering, designed to cultivate students' skills and capabilities in the technology sector. This curriculum integrates internships throughout each academic year, allowing students to immerse themselves in real-world environments, whether through online or in-person internships. These experiences not only help students build their professional portfolios but also boost their confidence as they transition to the workforce.

For high school and vocational school students interested in these fields, the Pre-Degree Program under FutureX offers an early start by allowing them to earn credits and develop skills in preparation for undergraduate studies.

In the first two years of the program, students will receive a broad foundation in technology and essential skills. They can then specialize in areas such as Digital Design, AI & Machine Learning, Data Analytics & Data Science, and Software Engineering, aligning their education with their passions and career objectives.
