From November 27 to December 1, 2024, WeStride participated in the One Stop Open House 2024, held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The event highlighted innovative approaches to education, and FutureX, a collaboration between WeStride and Southeast Asia University, attracted significant interest for its Computer Engineering (Internet-Based Distance Education) program.
Bridging Education and the Digital Era
The FutureX program is thoughtfully designed to address the evolving needs of the digital workforce. By combining online education with practical experience, the program prepares students to confidently navigate the challenges of the modern workplace.
A Closer Look at Hybrid Learning
A highlight of the event was the presentation by WeStride program representatives Panatsaya Areesamarn and Saksorn Srisak, who introduced attendees to the program's Hybrid Learning model. Their presentation explained how the curriculum integrates:
- Flexible online courses that accommodate diverse learning needs.
- Internships with leading technology companies, providing students with valuable industry experience.
- Skill development aligned with the demands of the tech industry.
The session provided insights into how this approach helps students not only gain knowledge but also apply it in practical settings, bridging the gap between academic study and professional expectations.
